Hello ..long time no see , here am I again after a long time , more excited to write about this drama ..why ? BECAUSE THIS IS Ji sung , and you know how great of an actor he is .
This will be my first time seeing Yuri in a drama and I have a positive feeling , well I only saw her for few mins in “Kill me heal me” if you remember 😛 hehe
Ok so what I was excited for in this drama was that this drama will not only focus on love stories or other things that fans nowadays try to find in dramas , and yes I love those kinds of dramas when the whole strength is in the plot and it will depend on the abilities of the actors and actresses .
Ok so the first scene , starts when there is a prisoner who was escaping from the prison and being chased by the police ,well I thought this could be the evil guy of the story who will maybe murder someone and then the drama will begin XD actually I was wrong , this was Jung woo , who is a prosecutor who was faulty convicted and kept in prison for murdering his wife and daughter .
So now back in time , a big truck intentionally hit a man that was waiting in his car in the road and killed him while he was actually on the phone talking to a man , a gangster , who happened to threaten him and wanted him dead by sending someone to kill him earlier . actually the man on the other side of the phone was assuring him that he didn’t do it .
Next morning our prosecutor gives his daughter a ride to her school while singing along with her and then leaving her after kissing her . He afterwards headed to the funeral of that same man who died last night , All of the attendants were bowing for the boss when he arrived , actually he is the person to whom the late boss was lastly talking before dying , well now he is the boss since the late boss is dead , Jung woo was not bowing for him which means he didn’t respect him and also he even told them he wont bow to a person like him in fact he was there to call that man personally for prosecution .
The new boss threatened jung woo that he wont be able to leave this place unharmed and he wont go along with him to be investigated , when all his men were preparing to fight Jung woo , the prosecutor told them that their new boss is actually the main suspect of the late one’s death because they have a recording of his conversation ,and that turned them all against him . Both of them fought against those men and escaped , now Jung woo did what he wanted and took that man along with him in that way . We can see how devoted he was to his job to even put his life in danger and go to these extreme limits .
Later the boss was abandoned in the prison , Jung woo just wanted to catch him and thats what happened . When jung woo arrived to his office a man was waiting for him and offered him to work in their law firm for much more money , all what Jung woo did was to call his wife and ask her while putting the phone on loudspeaker , she refused because she didn’t care for money ,then simply asked him to pick up the cake that she ordered for their daughter’s birthday . The man then left and called his boss telling him the answer , his boss cha seon ho, was at that time celebration his Inauguration as a president for the chamyoung group .
Jung woo leaves a bit early that night for his daughter’s birthday and all his coworkers gave him presents for his child . He then heads to the bakery to bring the cake , the worker asked him about the name under which the cake is ordered and he gives her his name but it appeared that his wife put his name that she used to call him which was “Park bong goo” so he immediately recalls that . I got a feeling that this will have a connection to what will happen later in the drama XD
Celebrating his daughter’s birthday , he made few mistakes by forgetting that she actually turned 6 years now , also brought her a filled animal just like his coworkers presents , anyway his daughter didn’t complain that much and he lulled her to sleep while singing for her that same night.
Later his wife treated his wound on his foot that he caused himself while running away in the morning , then he went to sleep tired form his long day and tells his wife to wake him up at 6 am . When he woke up he found himself in the prison with other prisoners and they keep telling him that he have been here for 4 months for killing his family and that he forgets everything when he sleeps at night and find it hard to believe in the morning .
So the prisoners tried their best to convince him or remind him ,finally the warden was about to visit the prison himself and they had to forcefully calm him down so he wont be taken to the isolation . When the warden was there he allowed him to have a call as he asked , the call was for his wife , the number was already does not exist. The warden told him to accept the fact already , but he threw a tantrum and his behavior caused him to be transfered to the isolated prison where he kept repeating to himself that yesterday was his daughter’s birthday and that he couldn’t kill his family . I can’t imagine how shocked he is to the point that he rewrites his memory every time he wakes up and have to deal with all of this all over again everyday for 4 months , waw this is hell .
Well we are back into the time before the prosecutor’s daughter birthday , when a woman in the club was about to target Cha seon ho and maybe spend the night with him when she finds out that this was actually his twin brother the trouble maker and vise president Chan min ho . As she finished her phone call with someone telling her that she will go with mi ho anyway because he is rich also , she found Min ho standing behind her . Later that night he tried to kills her as a revenge for what she did , fortunately she was not dead .
The next day , Min ho was called as a witness since the victim was found in his villa , Jung woo was investigating the case with him and he was sure that Min ho did it , however he couldn’t get anything from him .Later they found the weapon he used and he was now changed into the main suspect, and Prosecutor jung woo and his men headed to the company to arrest him . Jung woo met with the president Cha seon ho who for the first sight of him thought that he was Min ho , the president agreed to cooperate with them .
Cha seon ho found Min ho that night because he was hiding in a hotel, he asked him to turn himself to the police , and that he caused them too much trouble till now . Min ho blamed everything on them and refused to do so since he will be sentenced to 15 years in prison . when seon ho told him that there is no other way , immediately and with a very little time for thinking Min ho hit his brother with a bottle and knocked him down telling him that there is a way , which is becoming him .
He coldly then takes his ring and even clothes and throws his brother from the veranda, although seon ho was trying till the end to survive but he couldn’t . Now min ho turned himself into seon ho , wrote a suicide note and signed it as Min ho and hurried to leave the hotel .
He barely made it home or lets say his brother’s home , the latter’s wife opened the door in a rush to tell her husband about the unfortunate news of Min ho’s accident , but she immediately recognized that this was not seon ho but Min ho . She is now the only person who knows about this plan , and after his threat that she can fool seon ho but not him by knowing the real father of her child she can’t resist and should keep silent about this .
Prosecutor park was feeling bitter that he might never be able to put Min ho into the court if he dies , also he knows for a fact that Min ho is not the type to kill himself .He then received a phone call telling him that they found a suicide note and that Min ho blamed everything on himself . the weird thing was when he arrived to the hotel room and found that Min ho already ordered a room service before his death also according to a worker in the hotel , Min ho smelled of alcohol and was so tense .
After some investigation , Prosecutor park found out that the person who is now lying in hospital as Min ho had zero level of alcohol in his blood unlike what he was told last night by that worker, so his suspicions increased and he hurried to the hospital . He met Seon ho or “Min ho” he pretended to meet him for the first time , Min ho didn’t catch that and he acted along but Jung woo reminded him that he already met him . Min ho tried to cover that since he remembered what his brother told him last night .
finally , seon ho regained his conscious , which made Min ho so nervous and terrified .His brother was murmuring something , Min ho tried to talk to him to stop him from saying anything but Prosecutor park hurried near him and asked him to repeat it . after a second , Jung woo was shocked in what he heard and the patient’s heartbeat stopped . seon ho was actually calling his brother Min ho and thats what Jung woo heard . he stood there astonished because all of this fits what he was doubting and that the person standing next to him now is actually Min ho.
My thoughts :
So I can tell you I couldn’t wait for the next episode and after watching it , I feel like I will be addicted to this drama . As I said I was happy about this drama since it will be one of those dramas that will keep you on the edge of your seat watching it .
How coldly Min ho killed his brother even when he was under alcohol ..it didn’t make a change since he regained his senses after what he did and tried to call an ambulance but yet he stopped himself and justified what he did in that seon ho needs to cover for him this time also . hes not just a normal psychopath , hes so scary also XD .
And I know we will not be able to know the whole story of how did prosecutor park ended up like that in prison all at once , we will have to discover that step by step along with him.
The sad thing is that at the last night Jung woo spent with his family he was not fully prepared for his daughter’s birthday nor he could enjoy everything since he was a workaholic, yet he was supported by the love and the kindness of his wife . this for sure will destroy him later in the coming episodes , guilt and self blame is what will cause him too much pain.
Lets just add a little thing , something about Ji sung’s acting , and yes I’m a big fan and his reactions are NO JOKE . seriously he is gifted and makes you believe every scene . so I really hope this drama will get so much love and that his effort will be fruitful ^^ enjoy this drama and thank you for reading my review 🙂
